Cleaning and Problem Solving

 

We provide a specialist cleaning service for tiles, stone and grout joints that have been neglected or are subject to heavy use. We can safely remove grease, wine stains, food stains, soap scum, water deposits, dirt etc without damaging or etching the surface.  In addition we can treat tough, deep-set stains such as cured grout and mortar haze, epoxy grout haze, adhesives, paint, oil, rust and efflorescence, and strip old sealers and coatings.

 Grout services

 Grout is a porous material which can stain and over time look very dirty which in turn affects the appearance of the tiles. We offer a grout sealing service that assists protection of the grout joints by adding a stain resistant barrier, allowing reaction time to clean the surface.

Grout re-colouring

We can also re-colour existing grout joints. As well as colouring it also seals the joint and so makes ongoing maintenance easier. This can be the same colour as the existing grout or a different colour.  With a deep clean and re-colouring your tiling can go  From this   To this     

Sealing stone 

We use a range of sealers, mostly water based, to offer a choice of finishes. You could have a natural look, low-sheen or high-sheen finish. A further option is an enhanced look to darken, enrich and highlight the natural stone.

Polishing

 Restore the shine to dull, etched or lightly scratched stone.

 

 

Where possible we use water based products.

They are non-flammable and non-toxic and virtually odour free. Where we have to use a solvent based sealer we try to use a non-flammable product with a low VOC.
